Michigan Academy of Dance + Arts (formerly Ann Parsley School of Dance), founded in 1976 by Ann Parsley, proudly continues a 50-year legacy of excellence in dance education. While our name has evolved, our foundation remains the same, guided by the same leadership, values, and commitment to a supportive, non-competitive environment where every dancer can thrive.
Now expanded to include a growing music program, along with theatre and voice, we offer a comprehensive arts experience that reflects who we have become as a community.
Whether a student is pursuing dance at a serious level or simply discovering a love for the arts, Michigan Academy of Dance + Arts is a place where every individual can thrive.

Continuing a 50-year tradition of excellence, Michigan Academy of Dance + Arts (MADA) is dedicated to nurturing both technical growth and a lifelong love of the performing arts.
Our high-quality, non-competitive training is rooted in a strong foundation of classical dance, guided by professionally trained instructors who care deeply about each student’s journey. As we continue to grow, our programs have expanded beyond dance to include music, theatre, and voice, offering a well-rounded arts education that inspires creativity, builds confidence, and supports artistic development at every level.
