Michigan Academy of Dance + Arts (formerly Ann Parsley School of Dance), founded in 1976 by Ann Parsley, proudly continues a 50-year legacy of excellence in arts education. While our name has evolved, our foundation remains the same, guided by the same leadership, values, and commitment to a supportive, non-competitive environment where every student can thrive.

As the home and official training school of the Michigan Ballet Company, our students benefit from exceptional training opportunities rooted in a strong classical foundation. We are proud to offer high-quality instruction for dancers of all ages and levels, from those taking their very first class to those pursuing advanced performance opportunities.
